Overview
We went with some of our kids and grandkids on an adventure to Europe. We started in Orlando where we picked up my brother Kim and his wife Connie. Then we all traveled to Miami to catch a transatlantic cruise to Barcelona Spain. On the cruise we will stop at San Jan Puerto Rico, St Maarten, Martinique, Barbados, Madeira Island, Portugal, and Morocco with an excursion to Marrakech. After arriving in Barcelona (day trip to Andorra) then to the following -- Paris (with the French Open), Switzerland, Munich (day trip Salzburg), Prague, Krakow (day trip Auschwitz), (pass through Slovakia on way to Budapest), Budapest, Vienna, Croatia (several different cities) & (stop in Bosnia), Slovenia, and Venice. We fly back from Venice and Ryan and his family continue to Rome, Naples and Ireland.
Orlando
We flew from Seattle to Orlando, and Ryan and Monica flew from Montana to Seattle, where Kim picked us all up from the airport. On arrival to his house, Connie served a wonderful meal of Hawaiian Haystacks.
Kim has an ongoing project of putting in a new hot tub in his back yard. Because of COVID the project has taken over 2 years. He finally had it ready much to Ryan's kid's delight.
Kim has been awaiting his new hot tub for quite some time (2 years). We got to help him celebrate by christening the new hot tub with some sparkling cider.
While the Ryan and his family visited Universal Studios with Harry Potter, we played a little pickleball. After pickle-ball the girls wanted a pedicure, along with Kim. They talked me into coming along for the pedicure. This was my first pedicure experience.
The older girls went to the temple for Temple Baptisms. Meanwhile the boys and Grandma and Grandpa headed for the park and then to Jeremiah's for Italian Ice and Gelati.
